About Peppers & Pigs

Our Story

Founded in 2020, Peppers & Pigs is a result of the pandemic. Kyle grew up on a 65 sow farrow-to-finish swine farm in southwest Ohio. His family also farmed corn, soybeans, tobacco, and chickens. Kyle wanted to provide his children an opportunity to thrive while the nation was locked down. His family increased the size of their garden and sold vegetables to the local community. Matt W. (Co-Founder) asked Kyle about raising a couple of hogs for freezer meat. Kyle stated, “If we raise two, we might as well raise 10 and sell the rest.” Ten turned into 25 the first year, 30 the second year, and the company is on target to have 60 pig customers in the third year. The company is expanding quickly and now sells pigs, vegetable plants, peppers, and smoked pepper powder.
